GET Imaging provides high volume document conversion, scanning, and imaging services.  We digitize all types of microfilm, microfiche, aperture cards and paper records, converting the records into digital images.  GET Imaging scans our clients' microfilm, microfiche, aperture cards, and paper records.  We typically deliver either TIFF or PDF image files to our clients, written on CD ROM or DVD disks.

The document conversion, scanning, and imaging process begins with GET Imaging's performance of a free analysis of a new client's microfilm, microfiche, aperture card, and paper records.  We convert the sample records into digital images and index records.  GET Imaging prepares and delivers  demonstration CD ROM disks, with examples of the scanned images and index records.  This allows GET Imaging to develop a better understanding of our potential client's requirements and to offer a firm fixed price quotes for performing the project.  Likewise, the potential client is afforded the opportunity to review examples of our document conversion work before entering into a service agreement.

Once a written service agreement is established between GET Imaging and the client, we are ready to begin converting their microfilm, microfiche, aperture cards, and paper records.  We perform the majority of our scanning and imaging projects at our document conversion facility in Oklahoma City.  The client ships its microfilm, microfiche, aperture cards, and paper records to our document conversion facility, where we digitize the records.

GET Imaging scans the microfilm, microfiche, aperture cards, and paper records, creating TIFF and PDF images, in bitonal, greyscale, or color format.  We attempt to automatically crop, deskew, and enhance the digital images.  GET Imaging offers value-added image processing, indexing, and data entry services.  GET Imaging outputs the resulting electronic images for delivery to the client.  Both the images and source microfilm, microfiche, aperture cards, and paper records are returned to the client.
